I started No Excuses because I was frustrated with what I saw happening in the pool industry out here. Homeowners were getting inconsistent service, dealing with a different tech every week, and never knowing if anything was actually done — or if their water was even safe to swim in. That's a problem I knew how to fix.

When I show up at your pool, I'm not rushing to the next stop. I check every chemical level, I document everything with photos, and I send you a digital report the same day so you can see exactly what was done. You'll never have to guess.

No contracts means I have to earn your business every single visit. That's the way it should be. If something's wrong with your equipment, I'll tell you straight — what it is, what it costs, and whether you actually need to fix it right now.

Service Terms & What to Expect

📅 Scheduling

Your pool is assigned a set day of the week. Same day, every week — you'll always know when to expect us. Day changes for holidays are communicated at least a week in advance.

🚫 No Contracts

Service runs month-to-month. Cancel with 7 days' notice before your next billing cycle. No cancellation fees, no hard feelings — we'd rather earn your loyalty every single month.

💵 Billing & Payment

Billed monthly, in advance, on a set date. AutoPay via credit card, debit, ACH, or Zelle makes it seamless. Payments are due within 7 days of invoice. Overdue accounts may be paused.

🐕 Gate & Access

Please ensure gate access is available on your service day. If we arrive and can't get in, the visit may be skipped for that week. Dogs should be secured on service days for everyone's safety.

⚠️ Chemical Costs

Standard chemicals (chlorine, pH+/−, alkalinity, stabilizer) are included. Specialty treatments — algaecide shock, phosphate remover, scale inhibitor, clarifier — are priced at cost + a small service charge.

🔧 Equipment Repairs

Repairs are always quoted before work begins — no surprises. You approve it; we do it. Minor adjustments (backwash, clearing a clogged basket) are done as part of weekly service at no extra charge.

🌧️ Rain / Weather

We service in most weather. After heavy rain we may adjust chemistry and check for debris at no extra charge. Extreme weather events may cause a brief delay — we'll communicate promptly.

📸 Your Report

You receive a digital service report via text the same day as each visit, including chemical levels, tasks completed, and photos. Reports are stored — you can pull up any past visit anytime.

Rate Adjustments: Monthly rate is locked for the first 12 months. After that, any rate change requires 30 days' written notice.

Green Pool / Remediation: If a pool is taken on in green or extremely neglected condition, a one-time clean-up fee may apply before regular weekly service begins. This will always be quoted upfront.

Chemicals Not Covered: Salt (for salt chlorine generators), algaecides, enzyme treatments, phosphate removers, and muriatic acid for tile cleaning are billed separately at cost.

Liability: No Excuses Pool Service & Repair LLC is not liable for pre-existing equipment conditions, acts of nature, or damage caused by foreign objects or unauthorized use of the pool between service visits.

Beyond Weekly Service — Add-Ons & Upgrades

Most customers add at least one of these over their first year. They're either maintenance items that extend equipment life or one-time upgrades that make a real visible difference. All are done by Ceegan — no subcontractors.

Full teardown clean of cartridge or DE filter grids. Inspects for tears, cracks, or bypass. Keeps filtration efficient and extends filter life. Recommended 2–4x per year.

Acid-soak cleaning of your salt chlorine generator cell. Removes calcium scale that kills cells prematurely. Extends cell life by 2–3 years. Recommended annually or when output drops.

Inspect burner tray, heat exchanger, bypass valve, and ignition. Clean combustion chamber, check for scale, verify thermostat. Catches small issues before they become $1,500 repairs.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What exactly happens on a weekly service visit?
    I test and balance all water chemistry, skim the surface, brush the walls and tile line, vacuum as needed, empty pump and skimmer baskets, check all equipment, backwash the filter when pressure indicates, and send you a digital service report with chemical readings and photos — all in one visit.
  • Do I need to be home?
    Nope. You just need gate access available on your service day. I'll send an "on my way" text before I arrive, do the service, and send your report when I'm done. You'll know exactly what happened without ever needing to be there.
  • What if I'm not happy with the service?
    Call or text me directly and I'll come back out. There's no contract — if I'm not delivering, you should leave. My goal is to be the last pool company you ever need.
  • Are chemicals included in my monthly rate?
    Yes — standard chemicals are fully included: chlorine (liquid or tablet), pH up/down, alkalinity increaser, and stabilizer. Specialty treatments like algaecide, phosphate remover, scale inhibitor, or salt are billed separately at cost with advance notice.
  • What if my pool turns green between visits?
    Text me. I'll assess whether it can be corrected on the next regular visit or if a green pool treatment is needed. Algae treatments are quoted upfront — usually $75–$150 depending on severity, including all chemicals.
  • Do you repair equipment, or just maintain it?
    Both. I handle pump repairs and replacements, filter repairs, heater troubleshooting and repair, salt cell replacement, automation programming, and more. I'm not just a "maintenance guy" — I'm a full-service pool tech. And I always quote before I wrench.
  • What happens if my service day falls on a holiday?
    I'll communicate at least a week in advance and reschedule within 2 days of your normal day. You won't miss a visit — and you'll always know about it ahead of time.
  • Can I add a spa or water feature to my service?
    Yes. Spas, attached water features, and fountains are included or added at a small monthly premium depending on complexity. Just ask at your first visit and we'll adjust the quote accordingly.
  • How do I get in touch between visits?
    Call or text me directly at (951) 318-9187. No call centers, no ticket portals — just a real person who knows your pool and will actually respond.

AutoPay Setup — Never Think About It Again

AutoPay is optional but highly recommended. It means your bill is handled automatically on the same date every month — no invoices to chase, no late fees to worry about, no interruptions to your service. Takes about 2 minutes to set up.

Get Your Invoice

After your first service visit, you'll receive an invoice via email or text with your monthly rate and a payment link. The email will come from No Excuses Pool Service.

Click "Set Up AutoPay"

On the invoice, tap the AutoPay option. Enter your preferred payment method — credit card, debit card, or bank account (ACH). Your information is encrypted and stored securely.

Done — You're Set

Your bill processes automatically on the same date each month. You'll receive a receipt via email. If anything changes with your rate, you'll receive 30 days' advance notice before any adjustment hits AutoPay.
