Weekly Pool Service
Proper maintenance is essential to maintaining the longevity of your swimming pool investment. It is recommended to have your pool cleaned at least once a week to ensure a healthy pool. Regular cleaning and disinfection not only keep the water clear and safe, but also prevent the growth of algae and other contaminants.
Chemical Check and Balance
We conduct a thorough examination of the chemical levels during each visit to ensure that your pool is maintained in optimal condition. Based on the results of these tests, we make necessary adjustments and add the appropriate chemicals to maintain the desired chemical balance.
Top and Bottom Pool Netting
We consistently perform a thorough cleaning of the surface and the floor of the pool during each visit by using a skimming net.
Vacuuming (as needed)
While vacuuming is not always required, we make every effort to remove debris by using skimming nets. Excessive vacuuming can lead to premature clogging of the pool filter and potentially cause streaking on the plaster surface. We take care to balance the need for cleaning with the preservation of the pool's overall condition.
Emptying Pool Baskets
The pool and pump baskets play a vital role in the intake system of your pool. It is important to regularly empty these baskets, with the frequency determined by the amount of debris such as leaves that accumulate. Neglecting to do so can result in damage to the pool pump and potentially cause it to fail.
Costs to Expect With Your Pool Service
The frequency of filter cleaning is contingent upon several factors, including usage, environmental conditions, and pool size and filter. The cleaning intervals may vary from monthly to bi-annual, depending on the specific requirements of the pool. In light of this, we have implemented a flat fee of $60 for each filter cleaning service. For the majority of pools, a 4 month cleaning charge is expected.
Cost of Parts
Our Service plan encompasses the labor expenses associated with the replacement of consumable items, including but not limited to filter grids, o-rings, skimmer baskets, and tab floaters. Please note that this plan does not cover the cost of replacement of major equipment such as pumps, filters, or piping.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the salt cell is crucial for the overall chemistry and water flow of saltwater pools. A neglected salt cell can lead to corrosion of the piping and impede the production of chlorine. To ensure optimal performance, we recommend scheduling a cleaning of the salt cell every 3-6 months at a cost of $25 per cleaning. Additionally, we offer salt replenishment services at a cost of $8 per bag.
