While routine surface skimming is standard, bottom netting becomes challenging in rainy conditions due to impaired visibility caused by splashing raindrops. Despite these challenges, our committed team is determined to uphold the cleanliness and chemical balance of your pool.

Storming Days

During storms, extra precautions are essential due to the inherent risks of lightning. The combination of water and an extended pole touching the water increases the likelihood of lightning strikes. This occurrence is prevalent enough that our insurance does not provide coverage for incidents related to lightning.

Despite these challenges, we remain dedicated to maintaining your pool's condition. Our procedures during stormy weather involve chemical checks, adjusting chlorine levels, and thorough basket emptying. By prioritizing safety and diligent maintenance, we aim to mitigate risks and ensure the well-being of your pool.

Windy Days

Adverse weather, particularly windy conditions, poses challenges to our operations. To combat the impact of wind, our service trucks are equipped with specialized leaf vacuums and nets designed for windy days. On windy days, our technicians are instructed to prioritize surface netting, chemical checks, and basket emptying. The level of discretion exercised is contingent on the varying amounts of debris in individual pools. Our mission on windy days is to get the majority of debris out the pool you may notice some is left behind.

It's crucial to note that restoring a pool to optimal conditions on windy days may require multiple visits, typically ranging from 2 to 3. This comprehensive approach extends beyond mere cleaning, addressing the accumulation of debris, dirty filters, and the disruption of chemical balance due to the heightened presence of organic compounds in the water. Our commitment lies in ensuring the thorough restoration and ongoing maintenance of your pool, even in challenging weather conditions.

Paid Hollidays?

Our billing is structured on a 48-week basis, covering the entire 52-week calendar year. Notably, in months with five weeks, we maintain a consistent fixed billing amount. This approach allows us to accrue "paid time off" for our team. During the holiday season, we observe a week off for Christmas.

Additionally, our technicians are entitled to three additional paid days off, which they can use at their discretion. Whether for sick days or simply taking a break, this flexibility acknowledges the importance of work-life balance and the well-being of our dedicated team members. 

We also do holiday stops for lesser holidays. We will be just doing chemicals and clearing baskets. You will be informed ahead of time when holiday stop is in order.

We understand that illness can affect anyone, including our team members. In the event that a technician is unable to make a scheduled visit to your pool due to illness, we are committed to accommodating your service needs. We'll make every effort to reschedule the service for the weekend, ensuring minimal disruption to your routine. Alternatively, our technicians can use one of their paid days off to maintain the continuity of service while prioritizing their well-being. Our goal is to provide a reliable and flexible service that considers both your pool maintenance needs and the health of our dedicated team.

Pump Run Times

Our recommended rule of thumb for pump runtimes is one hour for every 10 degrees of temperature. For instance, if the outside temperature is 70 degrees, we advise running your pump for 7 hours during the sunniest part of the day. Leveraging the advanced technology of variable speed pumps is a key aspect of our approach. However, it's crucial to highlight that the effectiveness of a variable speed pump lies in its programming.

What are Phosphates
